Kate Jackson
I was born and raised in Africa. Primarily in South Africa and Malawi. I have lived in the US since 2001, I acquired a cute, teddy bear looking yellow lab pup early 2003. And this is where the Jabula vision began. Winston "Stony" was raised in all the right ways, to ensure a happy, well balanced dog. However at maturity he was people and dog reactive.
I started Jabula in 2003 as a Sole Proprietor with a "Hobby Business". My ability to connect with people and animals and find unique approaches helped me realize a full-time career. I am certified through Animal Behavioral College, No Limitations and participated in several internships and workshops. I designed an Internship over the years for Jabula trainers to ensure all our trainers have a broad knowledge on all aspects of dogs from puppy basics to behavior management and sporting dogs.
I have competed in Rally Obedience and titled Stony, trained for USDAA agility with Wick and have several titles. Currently my up and coming dog is an Australian Cattle Dog by the name of Dibs.
